They're pretty common in New York. And every one is pretty similar to the next. But I still love them like no other. Julie and I scheduled a run for Saturday morning in Central Park and then quickly decided to make our way over to the
Ninth Avenue International Food Festival afterwards. Believe me, if you are looking for the quickest way to counteract any exercise or running you just did, this is it. But thanks to Julie, we came up with the ideal situation to try out all the "international" and "ethnic" food we wanted.
- Meat on a stick, Pork
- Blooming Onion, with all the sauce you could want
- A bag of fried oreos, with plenty of powdered sugar to spare
(yes, this is the most unflattering picture ever... but it was taken for the purpose of noting the extreme enjoyment of eating a fried oreo, which I think it clearly depicts, so I felt obligated to put it up!)
fried oreos??? scrumptious!!! oh the little delights of nyc!!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness. First of all, looove the run+food festival! That is the best end to a work out!! :)
