happy super bowl

Tonight I went to a Super Bowl party at Brendan's apt that he and his roommate (also Brendan) hosted. I like football (ok, love football) but for some reason am not ever SUPER pumped about the Super Bowl. Maybe because it isn't college, and maybe because it isn't the SEC... who knows. But, the party tonight was a blast. There were pigs in a blanket (my personal fave), puppy chow (a pretty close second) and a Bacon Explosion with biscuits (which was pretty incredible).

I was pretty disappointed with the outcome of the game, but it was such a close/good game that you can't complain TOO much, I guess... unless you're one of Kurt Warner's seven kids who isn't getting a puppy now.

  1. Whoa!! I'm pretty impressed with the food banquet!!! Did the two Brendan's cook all of that or was it order out? Even if it was order out, I'm impressed with the two guys planning and having all of that ready and waiting for the party...sounded like lots of fun...i too was disappointed with the outcome...i told dad it was a bad year for me to be rooting for you...all my choices have lost during the play-offs and superbowl, not to mention the australian open....

  3. Don't be too impressed Mom, the Brendans didn't cook (or order) a single thing. They just sent out an email that said to reply all with what you'd be bringing if you were coming... WE provided the food! :) it was a lot of fun though!!

  4. Cay - the only reason I've been blogging so much recently is because I've had to find another way to creatively outlet all of my thoughts...since there sure isn't creativity going on at work!

  5. Well ok!!! I guess the brendan's are just really smart!!?? Even if they aren't top chefs? I meant to ask you if you had a fav commercial last night...i did..the one where mr. and mrs. potato head were riding in the car and she was talking endlessly....and he wasn't really listening well...they came around a curve and nearly hit something and he screeched to a halt only to knock her mouth off..they watched it fall down the side of the mountain...they came back to the two of them and she took her eyes off and put on her mad eyes since she couldn't talk..i cracked up for a long time...i still do thinking of it...i hope you saw it...i agree with cay...i love the updates everyday with something new...keep up the creativity...i guess i am glad you aren't using it all up at work love you mom
